We have been so pleased that during the Coronavirus pandemic, several of our carriers have provided financial relief for customers. A handful of those companies include: Erie Insurance, Travelers Insurance, Progressive Insurance, Grange Insurance, and Metlife Insurance. Premium givebacks between the companies ranged from 15%-30% for multiple months.
The team at Peterson Insurance has tried to continue to pay it forward during this difficult time not only to our customers, but also to the local community. Food Donations to First Responders
We partnered up with another wonderful local small business Colonial Meat Market, to provide meals to first responders. We brought lunch to the Haverford Township Police Department and also to the staff at Bryn Mawr Hospital. This is just a small token of our appreciation for the selfless men and women on the front lines of the pandemic. We are so grateful for everything that they do day in and day out.
Haverford Helping Neighbors Covid-19 Relief Fund
The Haverford Township School District Education Foundation has been working closely with Haverford Township School District leaders to find the best ways to help local families. The relief fund provides immediate assistance to Haverford students and families who are struggling with food security and other basic needs due to the Coronavirus crisis. Peterson Insurance was proud to donate $500 to the fund in the hopes of making a difference for our neighbors who need our support right now. Meals on Wheels of Haverford Township
Peterson Insurance has pledged a donation to cover the cost of all meals for all local seniors registered for Haverford Township Meals on Wheels for one full month. We know that this is a critical time for seniors and want to support our local neighbors continued health and safety.
Grocery Gift Cards
We have announced a local grocery gift card giveaway including several gift cards with a total value of $1,000. We will be randomly selecting anyone who is nominated on our Facebook page. We are so grateful for the local heroes and selfless community members and want to show our support by helping with grocery shopping during this time period.
